This course provides the knowledge and skills required to manage the danger of accidental electrocution and offer emergency first aid to patients who have suffered electrical shock.
 
Course duration: 3-4 hours (includes CPR & defibrillation training)  
 
Course objective: To equip electrical workers with the knowledge of relevant
                           standards and procedures to perform a rescue and treat casualties
                           with electrical hazards present.

                        *DRABCD action plan                  *Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
                        *Paediatric/Special situations       *Scenario based prectical CPR
                        *Intro to defibrillation (AED/PAD)  *Electrical safety
                        *Burns/Smoke & gas inhalation      *Electrical shock & V.F.
                        *Multiple casualty management     *LV rescue kit & procedures
 
Prerequisite: Nil
 
Certification: Participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (valid 1yr)
                    Certificate of completion in Low Voltage Rescue (valid 1yr)
