This course provides the knowledge and skills required to perform life saving resuscitation using  advanced chain of survival and automated external defibrillation (AED).
 
Course duration: 4 hours (Includes CPR training)  
 
Course objective: To develope the competence and confidence to provide advanced
                           resuscitation to non breathing patients using AED's.

                              *Paediatric/Special situations          *Scenario based prectical CPR
                              *Intero to defibrillation (AED/PAD)   *Safe handling of AED's
                              *Operation of AED's                         *Care and maintenence
                              *Resuscitation using AED's              *Scenario based excercises
 
Prerequisite: Nil
 
Certification: Successful participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (valid 1yr)
                       Certificate of completion in Semi-automated Defibrillation (valid 1yr)
