This course provides the knowledge and skills required to manage an unconscious casualty and maintain life saving resuscitation until medical helps arrrives.
 
Course duration: 3 hours
 
 Course objective: This course is designed for those who wish to learn or refresh their
                            understanding of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.

                               *Infection control                             *Chain of survival
                               *DRABCD action plan                       *Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
                               *Paediatric/Special situations          *Scenario based prectical CPR
                               *Intro to defibrillation (AED/PAD)  
 
Certification: Successful participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (valid 3yrs).
                       Please note: To maintain currency, CPR refrsher training must be completed annually.
