ADVANCED RESUSCITATION

This course provides the knowledge and skills required to perform advanced life saving resuscitation using oxygen equipment and automated external defibrillation (AED).
 
Course duration: 1 day (6hr)  Includes CPR training.  
 
Course objective: To develope the competence and confidence to provide advanced
                           resuscitation to non breathing patients using oxygen and
                           defibrillation. In addition, providing oxygen therapy to patients
                           suffering respiratory difficulties.

Prerequisite: Current CPR qualification
 
Certification: Successful participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (valid 1yrs).
